You’ve heard the song, ‘Say a little
prayer for me’ - well that’s just what we do at our mid-weekly
‘Prayer Group’ here at St.
Philip’s. We keep the communication lines
open between us and God by praying for those in need within our own local community and
the wider world. Joyce Huggett, (Listening to others) said, we feel ‘it is important to allow the eyes and ears of our souls to be warmed by the
love of God through prayer’, and that is how we feel also. That’s why we have at the back of church a ‘Prayer Board’ whereby all members of our
congregation can pin their prayer requests for those they know of personally who are also
in need of prayer; for God just loves it when we talk to Him; confide in Him and draw
closer to Him through our prayers.
All are Welcome - we meet at 148 Church Road, Monday evening at 7.30pm. Please contact Norma if you are interested.
